As part of White Cane Week, on Saturday February 8, 2020, the CCB Toronto Visionaries chapter of the Canadian Council of the Blind, hosts the Experience Expo, an annual event for Toronto's blind and low-vision communities that features dozens of exhibitors addressing every aspect of living with vision loss, contests and giveaways, and plenty of community-building.

Now in its 5th year, this year's 2020 Experience Expo takes as its theme the ability for all of us to see clearly: to see the potential of people with sight loss as equal to the potential of other Canadians, and to show that, when it comes to having a clear view of their own potential, those who live with sight loss have a vision that is 20/20! This theme is perfectly apt for the year that we're in, 2020, due to its implicit reference to vision.

The Experience Expo is an interactive, hands-on exhibition featuring dozens of exhibitors, products and services covering every aspect of the experience of living with vision loss.

Get connected with information on new adaptive technologies, recreation and leisure, tactile art and accessible entertainment, sport & fitness, transportation, education, employment, government supports, advocacy issues and more. Come to the Expo and experience the passion, creativity, wide range of activities, tools and tips for people living with vision loss.

Watch Accessible Media (AMI)'s profile of the 2018 Expo on AMI Inside.

Please join us at the Experience Expo, the Visionaries forum, and the Community Social. All three events take place Saturday, February 8, 2020, at the Miles Nadal JCC. Admission is FREE for all three events!

Every visitor to the Expo is eligible to fill out a ballot to win a weekend trip for two from Toronto to Ottawa! Package includes 2 round trip VIA Rail Canada business-class tickets between Toronto and Ottawa, and a weekend stay (Friday and Saturday nights) at the Best Western + Downtown Suites hotel! Travel must be in April of 2020. Content entrants must be 19 or over.
