Join us for an introduction for three new pieces of technology: NuEyes, Smartcane and Saarthi!

  1. NuEyes Easy is a lightweight, voice activated, visual prosthetic with ODG smart glasses. Featuring text-to-speech (OCR) and distance viewing capabilities as well as magnification, NuEyes Easy can scan barcodes, QR codes, take pictures and videos. Experience the world a new with NuEyes Easy.
  2. Smartcane is an electronic travel aid designed for people who are blind or partially sighted. It fits on the top of a standard white cane and warns users of obstacles between the knee and head height – using ultrasonic sensors to detect obstacles within three meters and distinct vibration patterns to inform the user.
  3. Saarthi is a product that can be attached to a white cane and used to sense surroundings through buzzing and vibrations. Powered by a long-lasting battery and accompanied with a microcontroller, Saarthi can sense obstacles across three accuracy ranges.
