This year’s second annual CNIB Guide Dogs Pup Crawl was a tremendous success! Since it launched on International Guide Dog Day, April 28, more than 230 Canadians laced up their sneakers and got active to complete the virtual five-kilometre fundraiser.
Erin Jackson, one of CNIB Guide Dogs’ volunteer puppy raisers in Toronto, was the top individual fundraiser, raising $3,828, and Team Pepper, led by CNIB Guide Dog handler Ethan Cook of Embrun, ON, was the top team, raising $6,164.

In total, more than 1,000 people pledged their support, raising more than $112,000 to cover the costs of raising, training and matching guide dogs with Canadians across the country. What a fantastic success!
