Come to camp as a valued volunteer!

We are looking for passionate people to assist in all of our in-person programs, with a specific focus on our children and youth weeks and our off-season programs in the spring and the fall.

The most important quality you can bring to the table is the motivation to make memorable experiences for our guests! Experience working with kids or in recreation (especially hockey and water sports) is a definite asset. Full training and support are provided.

There are lots of ways you can make a big difference as a:

  • “specialty” program volunteer assisting with programming whenever you’re available. This could be a one-time volunteer opportunity or a few hours each week.
  • virtual volunteer in our CNIBLakeJoe@Home programs
  • special event volunteer at our awesome summer fundraising event

Be the Change on the CNIB Lake Joe Advisory Board!

We’re looking for inspired leadership volunteers for the CNIB Lake Joe Advisory Board. This Board supports CNIB’s mission and strategic plan, The Way Forward, acting as passionate advocates, ambassadors, fundraisers and ‘friend-raisers’ who want to bring the magic of camp to people with sight loss and to change what it means to be blind in Canada.
