The CNIB Foundation, along with our partner Ascend Fundraising Solutions (Ascend FS), is proud to announce the launch of CNIB’s new 50/50 Raffle fundraising program. The raffle will raise money to support programs that help to transform the lives of those who are blind or partially sighted in local communities across Canada.
The CNIB 50/50 Raffle is a monthly draw where purchasers can buy tickets in-person, at 57 participating Walmart locations, as well as at other retail CNIB locations across Ontario. In addition to in-store sales, tickets can be purchased online at cnib5050.ca. Participants must be physically located in the Province of Ontario to buy a raffle ticket, both at participating in-store locations or online.
As part of the launch of the program, Ascend FS has guaranteed minimum jackpots for the first three months; May’s jackpot was guaranteed at $50,000 and both June and July’s jackpots will be guaranteed at $100,000 - with half of each jackpot going to the winners. The first draw was a rousing success with $107,560 total raised.

Tickets went on sale for the second draw on May 27, 2019 throughout Ontario and will remain on sale until July 1, 2019 at 9 p.m. Tickets for the second draw will go on sale 11:30 a.m. May 27th.
