CNIB Community Hub
1525 Yonge Street
Toronto ON M4T 1Z2
Explore a tactile way of reading. Great for teachers, parents, children, adults. The Braille Club is open to everyone in the community so bring along your family and friends! Take part in fun activities and learn creative ways to use braille!
Last year our club ran workshops at public libraries and hosted presentations at unique community events like the Toronto Maker Festival. We sold braille chocolate bars over the holidays and distributed over 10,000 braille bracelets at the Toronto Pride Parade! Sound like fun?
Join the club! 2019 is your chance to be a braille ambassador in your community or participate in programs with others who are passionate about braille and literacy.
- Upcoming Braille Club meetings
- Opportunities to volunteer at upcoming CNIB Foundation events
- Outreach activities such as braille workshops at public libraries
The Braille Club at the Hub Facebook Group is also a great place to share ideas for new programs and activities that you might like to develop. Braille jewellery? Braille board games? Join the Club!
New ideas and energy welcome! The group meets on the first Monday of the month.
