Here are a few tips for your job search.

1. Make sure to wait 72 hours before following up on a conversation (business hours).  People are busy.
2. If you see an interesting offer, do not wait before sending your application.  Most of the time, recruiters look at applications without necessarily waiting till the end of the posting.  Don’t forget that they look for those with initiative.
3. If you get an interview, be ready to explain in 3 points why you are the ideal candidate for that job.  You must know the company, but, most importantly, you must draw a clear correlation between your experience/education and the job/company.  After the interview, make sure to send a letter of thanks to the recruiter or to the person you have met.
